Podcast Club

Leadership Indianapolis has a long history of bringing together people from different professions, lived experiences, and perspectives to learn about community issues and leadership. Our podcast club is another way for us to do that. We believe our city and its future is strengthened when people are able to come together for meaningful civil conversations about important issues.

Seeing White

What is “whiteness” and how has the concept of race shaped our nation’s history? These inquiries are at the heart of Seeing White, a 14-part documentary podcast series produced by Scene on Radio host and producer John Biewen. Biewen, along with a diverse panel scholars and frequent guest Dr. Chenjerai Kumanyika, delve deep into the implication of “whiteness” in America. Over the course of eight weeks, participants listened to segments of the podcast series and discussed issues covered in the episodes.
