In this conversation, you will meet Rhonda L. Bayless, Founder/Executive Director of Centers of Wellness for Urban Women. Rhonda L. Bayless, founded the Centers of Wellness for Urban Women in 2007 as she saw a need for women to prioritize their health and well-being. Ms. Bayless has a long history of working on behalf of women through leading and developing various programs such as Woman to Woman, a program recognized by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on HIV and African American Women, Girls Inc National Resource Center, building capacity for 92 affiliates in HIV/AIDS, Substance Abuse, and preventing adolescent pregnancy. Ms. Bayless worked on other national initiatives focusing on women and girls along with speaking at the National Council on Disabilities quarterly meeting (Obama administration) regarding Black Women and mental health.
